For green tips and standard 55 grain ball is a 1/8 twist ok? Looking to get a new AR just because for now this is still America, and FJB.

The two PSA models are 1/7 and 1/8. I do not intend on shooting anything but factory loads and buy green tips when I find them priced right.

I have a Bushmaster M4 with a 1/9 that does fine for I use it for. Mostly hanging out in the safe....

Yes, a 1/8" is just fine for most any 55-77gr ammo out there.

If going PSA, I really like their 18" stainless 223 Wylde uppers with rifle-length gas systems. Several members here have also seen accuracy there that is beyond what the price tag would indicate.

I have a Colt H-Bar with a 1 in 7 and it shoots 52 gainers into little bitty one hole groups.

I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

Well I was getting ready to order from PSA and the rifle I had picked out is sold out. Found another that I like and it's a 1/7 twist. Looks like according to JWP475 that 7 twister is not a problem with the 1000 Green tips that just came from UPS.
Gonna get two of these I guess Since Mrs. Featherweight said @ that price might as well buy two.

Any naysayers? I'm more of a blued walnut kinda guy or S/S.

Your 1,000 green tips should be 62 grainers. You will be just fine with the 1 in 7". After all, that is when the military decided to go 1 in 7", when they started using m855 green tip ammo, and tracers. You'll be just fine. Now, with that being said, one of my buddies has a 1 in 9" twist HBAR Bushmaster that loves green tip ammo. It does not like 55 grain FMJ, but what rifle does? It has a huge preference toward the 62gr m855 though.
