Make sure when you get a gun safe don’t keep it anywhere near a torch. My buddy’s brother did and some meth heads used his torch to cut into his safe. My buddy keeps his torch locked in his safe now.
Sorry to hear about your loss. I hope like hell they catch em Sounds like a good reason to at least hide the cutting torch head.

Tines are tough for many.. thieves getting worse by the day. Had my gas tank on pick up get 2 holes drilled in tank to get $30 worth of gas. Nearly $2k later, ...tank replaced and hotel bill, ....hate thieves!!! Ask, I'll probably help ya out.
Sorry to hear another Iowan (or anyone) getting home jacked.

Post the serial numbers here. Tomorrow they will be in the stolen guns database.
If you post here, EVERY person will be looking. Database only helps if a LEO runs the serial number.

sorry to hear of your break-in. Dang it anyway--Very hard to stop a determined band of thieves these days. Even with cameras if they have hoodies on and masks what do you have?? Hope the sheriff comes up with something. Have you considered a security monitoring system?? Guess the situation could of been much worse as they could of took more stuff.

Maybe put up a trail camera and see it they come back, they usually do, unless it was a passer by (doubtful from the sounds of it.
Prayers that someone messes up and they get caught.

Guys and Gals you need to invest in a GOOD gun safe. Stop the kick the door in and steal valuables in a very quick bit. A gun safe is a very good investment. The price a good gun can be spent on a gun safe and stop this crap. You make it easy for the thieves. Thanks, dick lick for stating the obvious. Being a jerk is what you do.
