I’ve been looking for a 760 in 35 Remington for two years and have missed a couple good deals and passed on a couple not so good deals. My favorite uncle-in-law gave me a chance to pick up his 1976 Marlin 336 in 35rem and I couldn’t pass it up. This is my first lever gun, and I’m excited to try it out.
I’m looking for a used, but not abused gloss variable power scope for it. Open sights aren’t an option for my eyes anymore. Something like a Leupold, Nikon, Burris 2-7, or smaller objective 3-9. If there’s other good choices I’m overlooking, let me know as well.
Please PM me any offers. I can pay via PP, Venmo, or check/MO.

I don't have a spare but the 1-4 or 1.5-5×20 leupold are just about perfect. Or a Gloss Burris 1.75-5 . They had a longer tube making mounting a bit more forgiving.

I agree with you as they look about perfect for a scoped lever gun but, I really prefer a little more magnification. I’ve found the 2-7’s are kinda the sweet spot for me.

If it has to have a glossy black finish on it, then these suggestions are out unless you coat or paint them. Primary Arms has a 1-6x24 LPVO scope 30mm tube with an illuminated duplex reticle on sale for around $135 with above average glass. Riton Optics has their X3 Tactix 1-8x24 LVPO 30mm tube scope on Amazon for around $265 that has their own ACSS type reticle and great glass for it's price range. I like my Leopold 1-4 duplex scopes but today's LPVO scopes work great although they are bigger than the Leupold 1-4's and have a tactical appearance to them. I picked up a couple Riton red dots with Marlin mounts on CDNNSPORTS for around $99 each plus $10 shipping. The red dots featured shake awake and auto brightness and auto shutoff which are good features to have if you have red dots that don't automatically turn off and you forget to turn it off, (time to buy new batteries). Good luck with your search!

Lot of good options here for you. I'll add an older, excellent condition, Redfield 2-7 to the mix. Not the TV screen and regular duplex. Please PM if at all interested.

That's a nice lever gun you've got, enjoy!
