Better than while being a Christian, doesn't seem to be a decent human.

But he appears to be of the type with a very minimal moral system that probably lacks the framework for a deep defense against evil. For instance, I wouldn't be surprised if he was defenseless against the "love is love" crowd.
Not that there aren't a lot of Christians lacking the same depth.
