I am in my mid 70's and have had number of health problems and several surgeries the past 2 years which have sidelined me from many activities. Fortunately I am now on the the mend and gaining strength and mobility thanks to a superb Physical Therapist. I am now transitioning from a 4 wheeled walker to a cane.
Over the Easter week end, my son relayed this story. In his church, there was a 102yr former Texas Supreme Count Judge. My son asked his secret to his long life. The Judge responded "I HAVE NOT BEEN AFRAID TO USE A CANE." (Judge is now deceased) The Judge's statement is beginning to make a lot of sense to me.
I think this is some good sage advice from a wise old Judge.
