Mine likes to ask my opinion on things I couldn't possibly know and doesn't like it when I say "I have no idea". Everything is also relative to her and I have to ask "compared to what" numerous times daily. Who could guess that directions only exist in a relative sense; "up and past that one house" instead of "north on the highway for 3/4 mile and then east". But she's cute and tolerates me when I'm a dick.

Not mine, in the past some jewelry but her cameras, a saddle or anything horse related, computers, clothes, appliances, furniture. She will shop for deals but is kind of a buy once, cry once buyer.

She leaves situational awareness to me when we are together, but aren't we supposed to be protectors?
She seems to be aware of every bump, thump, tick, buzz, whine, grind etc. in her car but somehow can't see the gas gauge. laugh
She is chronically prompt. She can gut and skin deer. I don't have to ask if I can buy something. I know what our finances are, I just make sure she knows I'm doing it. Except in 2000 when I came home with a new F250. And 92 when I came home with a new bike.
They are different than us, I don't get the nit picking, after all, you guys all picked your wives.

I have no complaints about my wife. I realized years ago, she puts up with things, that friends wifes bitch about. She makes sure feeding and breeding are priorities. Forty nine years this year. I'm a lucky guy.

Everything was fine until that accident where I got my finger stuck in the ring.

Guess I’m lucky. Mine has some idiosyncrasies but nothing too terrible. I have a few myself.

I guess to all the guys posting a laundry list of their wife’s flaws on a public forum, I’d encourage you to be thankful for her flaws. Without them she might have been able to get a better husband.

Mine yells/screams when she sneezes, which is fairly often because she has allergies. I tell her that she is only expelling air and that vocalizations don’t need to be involved. I suppose that if that is all that I have to report that it is a good thing.

She is way too intuitive for my own good though. She will even cuss me out for what I’m thinking!

My wife has a bad habit of second guessing me. I have had to remind her more than once that I'm her husband and business partner, not her employee.

A downside of being married to a MENSA that I never anticipated, not that it would have made a difference.

Similar.

Mine said “I don’t F-ing care where you go on our anniversary this year” (at a high decibel level and without the editing)

So, I went pheasant hunting in South Dakota for the 3rd year in a row.

Turns out, she truly did care where I went. How was I supposed to know?

Cheesy--your first mistake was getting married during hunting season!

I know. Back then, I only hunted Kansas for pheasants, it was truly the 'golden era' with birds everywhere and the season started a week later than it does now. Well, fast forward 14 years, there are no pheasants in Kansas anymore, even if there were the season has moved up a week, and now my buddy got us in on a private property in South Dakota. Man, we kill a lot of birds.

Next time I get married..... its going to be on the hottest day of August. Nothing goes on in August that is important.

On a serious note, if you have daughters or a wife, I recommend this book very highly.

The author has also penned a book on the male brain with is equally fascinating and helpful, and which I've read 3 times since becoming a parent.

No question there. God blessed me with a far better woman than I deserved.

Three Miracles of a Woman:

She can give milk without grazing on the grass

She can bleed for a week without dying

She can bury a bone and not get her paws muddy
