1914 Remington model 14 in 35 Rem I recently found. Dam thing points like my finger but is in rough shape. She's not a collector so I think it will be a fun restoration project.

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

An English 14-bore flint fowler, a sequential collaboration of William Bailes, Durs Egg, and John Manton over a period of about 50 years, starting around 1760. Read about it in the Mar-Apr 2023 Muzzleloader magazine.

Nice, how does it shoot? The one I have does not, thinking the throat is gone, was considering have the barrel shortened by a turn and chamber recut. Also think they were chambered for 160G roundnose?

Well, I don't know yet. Bore is a little rough looking & I haven't shot it yet. Hoping to get a chance
to play with it some this summer.

Guessing mid to late 1880s, maybe 1887, it's been awhile since I've handled it.
