Have any of you tried VV N133 with 73-77 gr bullets in .223? Mostly looking at Hornady 75 BTHP but any incite is welcome. And yes, I know I can get a bit more velocity with a slower powder, more concerned with accuracy.
I'm not a competitor but I figured this would be a good place to ask.
TIA

Not N133, but I tried N135 and thought it was too fast for heavies. Looking back, Maybe I should have worked with it more, but it was expensive and I didn't have a lot of it. 23.5gr of 135 was too hot with even moly'd 75 BTHPs.

n133 is great with 55gr sbt, but I would think too fast for the heavies.

I use 24.5 grn of 133 with a 70 grn Berger moly’d. savage factory gun, shoots just less than 1/2” @ 100. The gun is over 20 yrs old with probably 3500 rds. At least

Thanks y'all. V-V gives data for a few bullets in that weight range, I'll load up a few and watch the chronograph.
KirkJ, any idea of your velocity?

One more thing. N135 was very peaky. It goes from warm to popping primers with very little change in charge. Something to watch with N133.

Yes, looks like I should be able to make 2700 or so.
