Anyone have experience, are they worth it? Or are they just another kitchen gadget

Have one and it does work. It is kind of nice occasionally, but, if I were paying, don't think I would spend the money. Got this one as a gift.

I just got rid of a Ronco rotisserie. It was neat but there's definitely better ways of cooking, it's kinda a novelty.

I have brand new one in the box we got as a wedding gift in 1990 in the basement cabinets. Farberware 455N Been there since we bought this house in the mid 90's. Wife keeps vetoing me when I want to get rid of it.

Anyone have experience, are they worth it? Or are they just another kitchen gadget Well, technically we have three - but two of 'em are electric rotisseries on two grills. The other is a portable unit I use 3-4 times/year... When not in use it's stored in a basement area. However, it does do one helluva job on a roasting chicken or small turkey.. Seasoned well upon startup, the end product is well worth the minor hassle of moving it up and then back down in storage again.. I'd take that over the stupid-azzed air fryer I thought would be a good idea... Mistake, that...

I'm on my third Ronco. For years we loved it, but we now go to Sams and/or Costco once a week and for $4.99, I get their roasted chicken.
So it hasn't been out of the box in about 3 months since we started buying 2 at a time.
When we did use it, it was easy to use, but I seldom did more than chicken in it. The chicken was great though.
The phrase they used was "set it and forget it"
so that what we called it - hey, you want set it and forget it tonight?
have you paid your dues, can you moan the blues, can you bend them guitar strings

I have had one on my last 2 gas grills. It is a great way to cook anything that is suitable. The.meat is juicy on a rotisserie. I'll never be without one.

The motors make great rod blank turners if one wants a nice even layer of epoxy on his windings. Used to seen them cheap in thrift stores, but not anymore.

You still bangin that Columbian chick? I am thanks for asking I'm heading back in June to celebrate her 40th, and I plan on asking her to marry me. I don't know what she sees in a seven fingered gringo. It's not money or a green card.
