I am not a Ford guy and don't recognize that model number - is it a truck or ag equipment?
I don't know about a "stater" either, but maybe you meant to type starter.

I do have a bit of experience with GM stuff and on some models having horizontal bolts for the starter, the third bolt is not through the front face of the bracket. It comes through the back of the frame mount (maybe bell housing) and threads into the starter from the rear.

Hope this helps.

When I'm working on my Ford tractors, I'll go to Messisks website and print off a diagram that shows the part and all the related stuff that I'm going to be working on.

Look up a site called Yesterday's Tractors, sub group Ford. Many older Ford experts there, freely give advice and technical info.

BTW a Ford 4630 is an excellent old school tractor. Mechanical injection diesel, internal oil cooled disc brakes, no computers and no plastic.
