Jay Inslee signed an “assault weapons” sales ban into law on Tuesday in a move he claimed will “improve the health, safety and lives” of the state’s residents. Washington is now the tenth state to ban the sale, manufacturing and distribution of the AR-15, one of the most popular rifles in America. “Today, we’re standing on the right side of history blah, blah, blah....." The Washington State House passed the “assault weapons” sales ban by a vote of 56-42 last week.
