My son has killed more than a dozen east Texas whitetails with Winchester Supreme 140 gr Accubonds, and his shots have all been 120 yards and under. The bullets have performed perfectly. Most deer have gone less than 20 yards after being hit, but he had one a couple of years ago that literally spewed blood for almost 100 yards.
I highly recommend Accubonds for whitetail deer and like size game.

Well, it's only one example but I'll throw it in...... Shot an average 4pt. muley buck at 75 yards with that bullet in my .270Win. Drilled both shoulders high enough to chop spine in between. The bullet exited and the buck dropped right there. I lost some shoulder meat on the entry side, just like I would with any other bullet that hits bone.
Sure seems like a good deer bullet to me.

270 Win 140 AB's 2900 fps
3 whitetail bucks- Largest buck 192 dressed(big for my area) the other two slightly smaller in weight. No distance traveled after shot for any of the three. All shots less than 100 yards. The closest was a head-on 20 yard shot and the AB, the only one recovered so far from a deer retained 63% original weight. The bullet looked perfect in my opinion.
3 mule deer does- No recovered bullets. Ranges were between 140 and 200 yards. One MD doe wins the prize for going the farthest after the double-lung shot; roughly 50 yards.

I use this bullet in my 270 win (handloaded) and have had great results. I've never had one fail to exit (Including one caribou).

2 whitetail deer, between 60-80 yards, lung shot. DSTA (dead shortly there after) One dressed at 210, the other 205. One mule deer, 90 yards, DRT. And 3 antelope. My favorite 270 bullet for sure....my rifle likes them too.
