That’s a nice one. If I didn’t already have two, I’d be sending a PM. 😁 I would think $1600 is easily in the ballpark.

I've had my 700 Classic 350 RemMag since buying new in '85 or '86, wouldn't even consider asking less than $1500 (not that it's for sale!), and it's seen a little more use than yours. But what I don't understand is why you haven't shot it! Inconceivable! Mine's one of the most accurate rifles I've ever shot.

1500-1600 seems like a good score to me. That’s a dandy 700.

The Cabela's in LaVista, NE, has a minty one in the Gun Library. They also have a 600 and a 660 in 350 RM and a 600 in 6.5 RM. I don't remember what they were asking for it, but if it is like almost every other firearm at Cabela's it is over-priced.

Those 6.5 600’s are more than a little pricey. The 350 600’s are high enough. I’ll probably regret selling this rifle. I have a 35 Whelen 700. I’m have the barrel shortened to 20.5” and threaded for a suppressor. I’d hate to do that with this. Not sure what I’d do with the hand-loads since I don’t have a manufacturer’s license. I really need to start selling guns instead of buying.

This is a really nice looking 700 classic. It’s just a poor time to sell high ticket items. I’ve got a KS Mod 7 in 350 I’m thinking of selling. The 350 is a hammer as we all know. If you list it, GLWS. I really do think it may be tough to move right now for what it’s actually worth.

It's very nice. There was a Remington 673 in 350 Remington Mag on the shelf at the Scheels in Iowa City. It's been there a long time. There apparently wasn't any ammo or components available for it, so folks walked on by. Strangely I popped in another sporting goods store 2hr north of here in Cashton, Wisconsin and they had a 350 RM for sale.
Haven't seen any ammo or brass available in this caliber in a long time. If you do sell it will help to include plenty of ammo/components. It's a beautiful rifle otherwise.

I have over 200 loaded with all being 250 grain bullets and have dies. I have come to dislike the Classifieds here. I may put this on Guns International or Cast Boolits.
Is it legal to sell hand-loads as “components only”?

Personally, I’d keep it and hunt with it. My Remington Classics are some of my favorite hunting rifles.

My 700 classic 35 Whelen isn't going anywhere. I think it's about time to warm that 350 barrel up. Report back with accuracy results. Besides..good accuracy results also help rifles sell. I'm sure you'll be able to produce a glowing accuracy report.

It is a good looking 700 Bugger.
At least with the 350 you can generally make brass if you had to from anything H&H based. Heard folks would hacksaw them to length and form back in the old days. I wouldn’t scared if I had to.

I’ve done it with two cases, 338 and 7mm RM just to see how difficult it might be. It’s pretty easy. Take the decamping rod out, run into full length sizer, trim. I didn’t need to trim the neck thickness for the 600. I don’t know if it would be needed in this rifle. I sent an e-mail to the ATF to see if I could sell the ammo as components only. E-mail would not go through. I called the ATF office in Twin Cities. The guy said that as long as I was not setting up a business to sell ammo I'd be OK as long as the buyer knew it was hand loads.

I'll do you a favor and come up and take that canoe paddle off your hands for you! Lol!
Seriously though, very nice rifle! Only thing I do with 350 Rem Mag brass now is neck it up for my 375/350.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do with it, but as far as pricing, all you can do is put a price on it and go from there. How people react is a reflection on them.
It isn't what happens to you that defines you, it's what you DO about what happens to you that defines you!

Start high, you can go down. I’d like to have a 35 Whelen Classic for the hell of it.
