Uncle is selling one in an auction. With days left it’s hit $1,300 already. He was thinking it wouldn’t bring a grand. Be interesting to see where it finishes.
Is there a bigger collector value on these than we thought?

I have one in 223 that I got a few years back in an auction for $700. The prices I have been seeing at gun shows are usually right around 1k.

I saw one in the Cabela's Gun Library, last summer. The Ruger #3 was priced at $1k, and it didn't last very long. There were several other .22 Hornets from this collection, as well, and they all sold pretty quickly.

It ended up bringing $1,300.
Anymore, things are worth what someone’s willing to pay. Fear seems to be in the drivers seat right now.

That’s always been the case, of course, but in spite of an apparent general softening of the market, some stuff is still bringing crazy prices, or being offered at crazy ones anyway. I see ammo advertised by individuals for more than online prices. Maybe they think people are afraid to have their ammo purchases tracked?

What fresh Hell is this?

Saw a Ruger M77 in 22 Hornet for $1500 at a local shop yesterday. Funny thing is, those had a reputation as being not real good accuracy wise. Mine sucked.
