Wanting Hornady 300 PRC brass , must be Hornady . Once fired will work but new is better . Have 79 peices of Lapua 300 PRC , full prepped f/l sized , trimmed , chanfered inside and out , primed with Federal Gold Medal Mag. Match primers . This Lapua brass is new unfired . Would like to work out a trade for Horn. brass , but would sell if trade isnt possible .

whats special about Hornady?

Lapua is thicker and I have a very tight chamber cant use it .

But when you resize the brass the external dimension of either should be similar based on your resizing die. There are many problems with the saami chamber specs for 300 prc which cause very tight extraction issues. As I understand it, it would be more a chamber problem and hornady brass will also be hard to extract after several firings. A chamber on the tighter side of saami specs only worsens the issue.
