I never did drink "lite" beers, Guinness when I am flush. Amber Bock or Youngling Lager when the budget gets a bit tight.

I don't know man, Coors light is pretty bad.

I like CL if it is ice cold, but I can't get a BL cold enough to kill the metallic taste.

I can't stand Coors Light at any temperature.

Should I wear rubber gloves?

You will like it if you are used to "lite" beers.

I don't drink "lite" either.

My low budget option has been High Life.

Terry, it's damned good to see you here again!

As for our house, no "lite" beers allowed. Shiner is the preferred brand.

Here, if you're not going to drink beer, it'll be whiskey that's served, or a good Cabernet Sauvignon or Bordeaux if you insist.

Tastes like club soda that’s had the flavor removed.

Yes they still sell it. Maybe limited distribution.
Have not seen it up here in many moons. Didn’t know if it was bought out or not.

Certain that we all have different taste buds. Some may only be slightly different but still different. Familiarity plays a big part too. I liked BL & was sure a switch would be easy. Bought 6 bottles of CL & ML. I tend to like bottles better when appropriate. ML went down pretty well, couldn't make myself open the 6th CL. Weird, kind of.

I switched from Bud to BL about 20 years ago mainly to not get as buzzed at our friends weekly or bi-weekly get togethers. Shaving some calories didn't hurt. I was a rough go at first. Little flavor but noticing I wasn't getting bloated as bad & it started getting refreshing. Likes been said, a good lawn mowing or all afternoon or evening beer, that's all.
