Picked this cool little rifle up Wednesday. Steven 1915 Favorite in 32 RF Long. Looks like someone spent some time and money bring this one back from the heap. Reblue looks like a Browning. The purple receiver really makes it pop. The wood had a large crack so they repaired it and inlayed some diamonds. Bore is in very nice shape. I have another neat rifle chambered in 32 RF, A Frank Wesson double trigger so I had found a couple of boxes of 32 RF ammo a few years ago. I really wish Aguila would produce this round again. I'm sure there are far more 32 RF rifle and pistol out there then there are 5MM Rem Mag and yet they seemed to do pretty well selling the 5MM Rem mag, I know I have about a case of it myself for mine. I shot a few rounds when I got home and at 20 yards it was hitting point of aim. Again, wish ammo was more plentiful. The local squirrel population would see a decrease.

A bowhunter at heart but a gun guy at soul. I'll take craftsmanship, wood and blue steel over plastic and composite any day.
Very slick little rifles. I picked up a pretty beat up one really cheap in a pawn shop when I was in college, but ended up selling it off when that Navy Arms 32RF ammo dried up.
It made enough of an impression on me hunting that I ended up picking up a Henry carbine in 32 several years back and shoot a 32 S&WL as 32RF fascimile load from it for my small game hunting. I love how it flattens rabbits and squirrels on body shots without tearing them up.
Kurt and I went to an auction, probably 2 years ago. They had 3 unopened boxes of Canuck 32 RF, 50 count. They sold for over $300 each. Then they had 2 boxes of 25 RF, 50 count. I got them for $50 a box. One of these days I'll find a nice Stevens to go with them.
I saw a you tube of a guy that took 32 center fire cartridges and open the primer pocket up and used 27 caliber primers for nail guns. He said he used black powder loads and they worked great.
QualCart makes some reloadable rimfire brass like that too, where it uses nail gun blanks for primers. They make them for stuff from 25RF clear up to the big bore Spencer rounds.
Quality Cartridge is down the road a bit from me. I got a box of 400 Whelen Basic from them a year or two back. They started selling their brass through Midway and it went up about 10 bucks. I'm waiting for them to run a batch of 444 Rimless.
I've got a bunch of their 32-40 brass for a rifle I have yet to acquire 🤣 It definitely isn't cheap, but I like properly headstamped cases.
I know I've used it in something else in the past for something, but I don't recall what... I wheeled and dealed myself through a lot of rifles back in my 20s. 308 Norma Mag, maybe?
