65BR Campfire Ranger Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 16,512 Louisiana	Chopped a 700 SS BDL and a 700V-BDL both to 21".......speeds using 100-140s were fine for my needs, though blast was 'enhanced' as well. I can say a 20.5" LV contour, fluted by Karl K. handles great......blast in the 6.5x47 mild. Look forward to reports. Enjoy your new rifle.

They tend to run .010" shorter in gross length,than a 180 ELD. The 180 Booger Highbird wears a .680 BC,while the 180 ELD is .796. Hint................
