Getting neutered.

Do I have to start calling him "good girl"?

and a nice bowl of Budlight for its recovery.

I guess it depends on how he identifies now.

My dog's also gender confused.

Don't belittle HIM for a choice you made. He was happy the way he was.

My mutts swinging a sack full, he's well aware of who and what he is.

Wait to see if he hoists a leg or squats.

I don't "fix" mine anymore, but there are situations and circumstances when it's better to do so.

Three dogs are at the vet in the waiting room.

When the first dog asks the second dog what he's in for.

He answers, "My master bought a brand new carpet the other day, and at the first opportunity I soiled it, so now I've been brought here to be put to sleep. So what are you here for?"

The first dog replies grimly, "I'm also being put to sleep. My master had a table with a collection of expensive vases and while I was chasing my tail I accidently bumped into the table and broke them all."

The two dogs then look over and ask the third dog what he's in for.

The third dog answers, "The reason I'm here is the other day my master stepped out of the shower and she bent over. I couldn't resist, so I jumped her from behind and took her like a wild animal!"

"So I guess you're also here to be put to sleep?" says the first dog.

The third dog answers, "Nope, I'm here to get my nails done."

Just call him unique (eunuch)

You groomed him and you know you were the one that talked him into it, didn’t you? 😁

My friend is a vet. Asked him about having my dog castrated. He said he didn’t recommend it. Doesn’t keep them from lifting their leg and peeing on things. He said you should have seen the smile on the faces of the bull dikes in vet school when they got to castrate a male dog.

Poor girl is home now, and he can't figure out that cone. Tries to go though a door, catches it on the cone, and shuts it in his own face.

Tries walking past the foot rest, catches it on the cone, and looks up at me like, "why the he'll can't I go forward anymore?"

Those cones can be tricky for a dog. The real purpose is to keep them wondering about why they have a cone on their neck long enough to make them forget they just had their balls stolen. In a week or so he'll be happy just to get the cone off and he'll have forgotten all about his balls.

The only time my border collie peed in the house was after being neutered and dealing with paralyzing effects of the cone.
