Anyone ever use this method or something similar?

Looking to get a smaller razor 800 side by side from Phoenix to the barge in Seattle. My brother has it and I want it.

Before I get an official quote, anyone do anything similar and what was the approx cost?

With uShip, I believe it's you putting out a bid for the work or job you want done. But you need to be very specific in how you state it, its more or less a contract and not much chance of changing once a bid is accepted. Need to say up front if you want it in an enclosed trailer, or if it's OK on a flat bed and tarped, whether crating is required, insurance and value, and if there's a penalty if not delivered on time or when stated. It then gets put out for a bid. Various people will state what they will do the job for, and it's up to you which one you choose. Use to be a show on them, I believe called Shipping Wars...

I have used them several times to ship various equipment and have had no problems at all. Phil is correct. You list what you have to ship, dimensions, weight, from - to, and when. Then put it out to bid. You will get emails from shippers with a quote. Good way to go.

Stay away from brokers, hire someone that will load at your brothers' place in Phoenix, and unload in Seattle.
Same person, 1 load/ 1 unload.
