Most m1 garands are rebuilds. This One here has been done right.

I was original owner of this. It came from Tony Giacobbe (garand guy.com). Excellent finish and a true beauty. Joe traded it out of me for a beautiful custom Mauser in .35 Whelen.

Great guy to deal with and a great wealth of knowledge on the fire.

Good luck with sale Joe.

Update! - i have the rifle (kinda), I left it at my FFL dealer to sell for me on consignment. I don’t need it after their break-up, no gift for him. It is at Arms Fair on Trinity Road, Cordova, TN if someone is interested. Rifle metal looked good, stock had good grain but color could be improved with a few coats of BLO or tung oil to give it that reddish WW2 look. Clean and fresh Criterion barrel. Sale also includes an entire bag of 8 round metal ammo clip, around 50 pieces.

FYI - this rifle is for sale at my local FFL. We can work out a deal and it will ship from the FFL to you. I just want to get out from under it. No good deed goes unpunished.
