Selling my Ruger 96/44 lever action 44 mag. Rifle is in excellent condition overall. Sometime before I acquired it a fiber optic front sight was installed and the fiber has since broke. Scope NOT included, but the Ruger rings are included as well as 1 magazine. $1200 plus shipping OBO.

Sweet little woods carbine and probably the smoothest lever action you will ever operate.

I have a 96/22 mag also and it's a great little gun. My friend had a 96/44 I really wanted but he wouldn't sell it. Later on I found out he sold it at a gunshow. He said he forgot I wanted it. I ended up just getting a 77/44 stainless instead and I've been happy with it.

Although those ruger levers are awesome.

Thanks guys, it is a nice little rifle, but not much use to me now in AZ. I still have a couple other 44 rifles and need the room. If my price is off I'm open to offers and may consider trades/partial trades.

Trades considered, Walther PP/PPKs, revolvers, hunting rifles in 250Sav, 260, 7mm08, 308, 280AI, etc. Would prefer to sell it and make the room, but what have you got?

This was the first ruger lever I had ever seen. Ironically in a pawn shop today I saw a 96/22mag for $700. Kinda funny to find a pair of them all of a sudden
