This does not have a serial number so I can't tell which year. I beleive anything pre 1968 didn't have the serial number stamped. I bought this from my Dad years ago and he has since passed away. He had a bunch of these. The box he gave me doesn't match up with the wood. I'm just trying to make room in my safe. I know the 22 short is more valuable than the 22 long.

Check under your barrel close to the forearm for a serial number.
Also the plunger was stamped with a serial number in the very early years.

There is nothing stamped under the barrel or on the plunger. There are a few markings on the ejection port but there aren't letters or numbers if that helps anyone.
