Nice to see a black, female Lt Gov state it wasn't the fault of law abiding gun owners, but of gangs! Sumbiatch needs his trial and immediate hanging, post conviction!

Yeah, our Lt. Governor is okay. She's a US Marine and a gun owner and gun-owner's advocate. Rare for an African American woman. And she's right, Richmond is a gang hotbed.

According to Richmond’s top prosecutor Colette McEachin, Jon Pollard of Henrico, Virginia, was charged with two counts of second-degree murder. 2d degree? Why 2d? That appears to be about as deliberate and premeditated as they come.

That appears to be about as deliberate and premeditated as they come. In Louisiana premeditation does not count in determining whether or not the crime is 1st degree. Killing a child, committing another felony, murder for hire, more than one victim, killing a law officer, and maybe a few other things gets you up to 1st degree. Otherwise it is 2nd or even manslaughter, but 2nd gets you mandatory life without parole, manslaughter can get you up to 40 years
