Don’t know if anyone’s looking, or if it’s a good deal, but Cabelas Dundee has a used Kimber Talkeetna .375 for $1150. It doesn’t show up on their website. I don’t find any sold on Gunbroker to compare it to.

WOW! Congratulations to 375 PigGuy!

I needed it like another hole in the head, as I already have two .375’s…..but, have loved the Talkeetna since it’s conception!

It was what I attempted to build in ‘89, and I got close. But, Winchester didn’t have SS firearms at that time!

The only thing that the Talkeetna lacks from being the perfect “all around - do it all” rifle is to have a competent gunsmith run a chamber reamer in it making it a .375 AI.

If it’s not obvious by now…….PigGuy, I’m envious! 😁 memtb

Damn, I drove right past that store yesterday around 2:00pm. I would have purchased that in a heartbeat but I had not seen this post. I have owned a Talkeetna in that past and gave it to my son, one for my grandson would have been nice.

I hear ya! I have several grandkids that might be interested in a rifle such as this once I kick the bucket! If not, they should get a great return on their investment! memtb

When I looked at it in the store, my girlfriend told me to buy it for re-sale (she's a terrible enabler). I said the problem I have is buying it and then not selling it, been there done that and have several t-shirts. So now I post "heads up" for you guys, like the M70 Stainless Classic .375 a couple weeks ago.

Man do I feel your pain! My wife, who certainly doesn’t think that I need another .375 H&H, recognized that it was a hellofa deal……and said I should’ve jumped on it, had I known about it! I hope she still feels that way if I ever find a S&W 460 XVR 5” at a good price!😁 memtb

That’s a great find. I got one few weeks ago for $1k shipped off another forum and was stoked about that but I been wanting another for my brother. He loves the one I got. Mines currently at my smith being shortened a little bit for easier carrying here in Alaska.

I've wanted one since I started working in Talkeetna in the summers. Have yet to find one other than gun broker type stuff and I just have not gone that far yet

I’d rather have a talkeetna than my stainless classic. I wish I’d bought one when they were readily available.
