A man in Calgary has been slapped with arson charges after he confessed to intentionally starting a “brush fire” in the Inglewood area, according to police.


The fire destroyed three acres of vegetation, according to local media. Police made the arrest after the man came up to them and admitted to the crime.

This comes as wildfires rip through multiple Canadian provinces, leading to front page coverage in the Associated Press, a wire service that sells its news to outlets all over the world.

RCMP in Nova Scotia are looking for suspects after three fires were deliberately set north of Halifax. Similarly, RCMP in Alberta have made multiple arrests in relation to arsons in the province. Several suspects are still at large.

That may have been in Oregon, the weekend Trump sent National Police assets to help the beleaguered cops in the Federal Buildings there. I can tell you that manufactured home prices went up sharply and orders for them made a significant backlog for production. Lumber prices went up sharply as well as demand went through the roof.
