A 'person' in a tent is 12 to 14 sq ft., the theoretical size of a sleeping bag. 2x6 or 7' depending on the brand. Divide the square footage of the floor by 12 to 14 and that's how many they tell you it will hold. Real life isn't exactly the same.

I don’t have one but how are the Gazelle hub type tents?

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

I read nothing but great reviews, and a tent that sets up that fast is a BIG PLUS...

Sure, they're bulkier and heavier, but set up easily and offer more room.

This, I have a kodiak 10x14.

+1

Kodiak tents are great tents and easy to put up. I switched to a Kodiak 10x10 that is designed so well I can put up by myself at 70 years old...10x14 would be a breeze with 2 people to put up..

We also have a Kodiak 10x10 Springbar. Great tent. Spent a week in Glacier in it, fair bit of rain while there. I ran a MrBuddy heater before we went to bed and aging when I got up to make coffee in the am. Took the dampness out and Mrs R was a happy camper. Nice being able to stand up and hang some things out to dry if it does rain.

There's 2 dates they carve on your tombstone.
Everyone knows what they mean.
What's more important is time that is known
as the little dash inbetween.
