You are close to the river - mink? Full disclosure- I haven't a clue. If it is an ermine, you can probably smell it, especially if you get it excited. That one that got trapped in the Sterling School library some years ago wasn't easy to catch, and made it's displeasure known. I got it tho! Or maybe vice-versa.... The only true cost of having a dog is its death.

Maybe my assumption wasn't exactly spot on.
