It was just OK the first time I saw it but it gets better every time I watch it again. So much irony and sarcasm, so well done. One of the all time greats in my opinion.
Some mornings, it just does not feel worth it to chew through the straps!~

Just like "the sound of music" or "it's a wonderful life" I just can't get into those older movies..... I'm a mid 40's gen X'r and they are just damn slow and boring for me..... I do love the music of those time periods though so I'm not a complete heathen. π

Liked it, as well as all of Bogart's movies.

Holy smokes man, what the heck is the matter with you??? I believe thereβs 7 quotes from the film that made it into every day life. βHereβs lookin at you, kidβ βplay-it again, Samβ, βweβll always have Parisβ βmaybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon, and for the rest of our livesβ, βthis could be the beginning of a beautiful relationshipβ, βround up the usual suspects And of course βYippie Khy Yie Aye, [bleep]β ! But really, Ingred Burgman? If I had to choose between her and Maureen OβHare, And I think Iβve got an eye for gorgeous ladies... One of my all time favorites. 7mm

My favorite Bogart movie is Treasure of the Sierra Madre & the part when he becomes a psychopath is typical of him IMO.
He reminds me of a Chihuahua. Have always wondered if I should start from the beginning with him & see more of his works or another side.

Itβs ok, saw it not long ago That's about my reaction to the movie, "it's OK". I prefer old movies for the most part, but Casablanca was a snoozer. I prefer Key Largo.

One of those outstanding Bogart films that I never grow tired of, along with Sahara (1943), The Treasure of the Sierra Madre and Key Largo.
