Looks good, plenty of greenery. Nice to see people outdoors, hunting instead of staring at screens.....and I've always liked the Ruger #1.

What is the weight on a super heavy one like maybe 500#?
I saw one video where a archer hit one with new Bear 55# Kodiak recurve and the old stag didn't run 50yrds.
Made it look easy.

Special permits to hunt?
Have to be drawn for quota hunts only few harvested?
How many sambar are you hunters allowed each hunt/season?
Do they have size restrictions like 2 feet each side minimum?

In Victoria you need a game license and it entitles you to hunt on public land literally millions of acres , as many deer as you wish to shoot no bag limit at all and no size limit take what you wish…

And there is plenty of them
