I just acquired a Model 92. It fires well, extraction/ejection are okay.
It won't feed cartridges out of the magazine; the cartridge stop is sticking out far enough to block the cartridges from exiting the mag tube.
If I push the cartridge stop towards the receiver wall, the cartridge pops out of the mag tube.
I'll likely disassemble for a thorough cleaning but I don't understand how the cartridge stop works; is something supposed to push it out of the way as you begin to open the action?

So.....I was incorrect. It EXTRACTS well. But doesn't properly eject.
Disassembly revealed the cause: A missing ejector collar.
Without the collar, there is no forward spring pressure on the ejector, which causes it to NOT contact the cartridge stop, and to NOT push on the lower edge of the case head. Therefore no cartridges can escape the mag tube, and none can eject properly.
