https://www.rimfirecentral.com/thre...few-idle-thoughts-on-the-zkm-573.212830/Briefly, the Model 1 has a "civilian" type leaf rear sight and a two-stage Mauser-type trigger, with the safety lever at the rear of the bolt, in line with the action whereas the Model 2 has a military tangent type sight and a Winchester 70 type over-ride trigger with the safety lever pointing to the right at the rear of the bolt, vaguely resembling the Win 70 safety location.. The Model 5 is a more deluxe version of the Model 2 the same action, better finish and the leaf type rear sight. All 3 can have a schnabel type stock with or without grip checkering. BTW, I have a Model 5 with a walnut schnabel type stock without checkering. HTH.
