“People who say it cannot be done, should not interrupt those who are doing it”

― Bernard Shaw

Engage the enemy 24/7/365... or be prepared to engage the enemy 24/7/365...

All that you hold sacred... hangs in the balance.

If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

M2 was getting to be too much for appendix carry.

CashisKing: No need for one here.
I was required to, and did, carry a firearm 24/7/365 for 29 years until I retired - came in handy a couple of times.
Simply NO need to do so where I have lived for the past 26 years. Although I often have firearms along when I travel to Hunt and trade them.
Last "bank robbery" in my new home town was 120+ years ago and the robbers horse slipped on an icy patch and broke its leg - locals caught him and justice ensued.
I have NO qualms with folks who do carry - its their right and if carrying makes them less stressed and feel safer then go for it.
When I travel to or through the urban ghetto centers on the west coast I double dog do "carry"!
Long live the Second Amendment.

Food for thought....

https://dnyuz.com/2023/06/23/why-some-americans-buy-guns/

“You are much more likely to be a victim of that gun than to successfully protect yourself,” Ms. Burd-Sharps said, adding that gun owners “are tragically not understanding the risks.”

Of course the Walter Mitty keyboard commandos here racking up stratospheric postcounts and who are panicked to visit the local grocery dairy case unarmed can't quite grasp the concept.

Do I normally go heeled? No. Will I run into a bad hombre and live to regret it? An extremely remote possibility. But unlike most here I don't let racism, xenophobia, anti-semitism, etc., the right-wing media misinformation industry, and the firearms industry dictate my decision making.

I don't often carry but I intend to start carrying more frequently. I used to occasionally have my 351pd 22 mag in my pocket loaded with 7 gold dots and have 7 extra rounds with me.

All the riots and things the last few years made me go to a sig 365 with a couple of 13 round mags full of 124g hsts or gold dots. The sig is going with me to the boat races in Burley tomorrow.

I just purchased a hellcat pro that came with 4 15 round mags but I haven't even tested it out yet.

Way to quote some anti gun BS there jackass! Be willing to bet that a vast majority of the regular posters here who are actual firearm aficionados practice with and are more proficient with their personal firearms than your average LEO is with their duty weapon. And that even most of the casual shooters here are more proficient than your average street thug! Pre covid I was shooting AT LEAST 500 rounds a month through my various carry handguns and at least the same through my AR platform rifles in various pertinent drills etc. Have slowed that due to ammo availability and cost but still maintain proficiency. I have also attended multiple courses put on by actual been there done that instructors.
