Decided I can’t be with out the cz 550 lux any longer that’s been in the classifieds for a while now
This is my first purchase on line, of any kind.
Yar seems like he sells a lot of guns on here and solid seller.
Just wondering how all this works
Thanks
Andre

I bought a rifle on the fire earlier this year...no issues. Sent my contact info along with the dealer contact info for where the rifle was to be shipped.

Sent a cashiers check USPS priority mail so there is tracking. Some sellers may want to wait X days for confirmation of a check to clear. I went ahead and sent the phone # for my bank to the seller and asked that he call to verify the cashiers check...I assume that's a common thing to do.

The rifle was headed to the dealer I sent info for two days after tracking confirmed my payment arrived.

I send a copy of my FFL along with the payment. My general rule( which is what I follow, not what everyone does) is I will sell to a person with a low post count if they are willing to send a postal money order. I will not buy from a person with a low post count unless they check a lot of boxes, but to be honest I just don't. If you put up a want to buy ad, you are going to get scammers contacting you along with regular members.

If it involves more money than I'm willing to lose, I insist on a video call with the seller holding the item. Still no guarantee they will ship it, but a screen shot of their face could be useful. Also, prefer to use a credit card if possible.

I bought a Savage. 99F a few years ago and a couple shotguns after that. All three transactions went smoothly.

Do your due diligence and you shouldn't have a problem. I've bought and sold here and never had an issue- yet...

No issues for me, granted majority of my purchases been from longtime members. Another thing I watch for is sentence structure of the poster especially new posters.

No problems buying or selling. It helps that most guys using the classifieds are savvy on packing ,shipping .Some really great sellers and buyers here.
