I used to be a Glock Fan boy but then I realized that their triggers suck, their stock sights are plastic bullshit and their ergonomics suck...So I got rid of most of mine and bought a couple of Walther PDPs when they came out. The gun is phenomenal and has a WAY better trigger and I shoot it much better. Don't get me wrong I don't hate Glock as my Wife has a 17 in a Roni chassis,I have a 19 and a 30s which I do like. I just like HKs,Walther.CZs and Caniks better. All have better triggers and have been as reliable for me as Glock. Now after all that BULLSHIT If I could only have 1 pistol for the rest of my life if the [bleep] hit tha fan it would be a Glock 19.

Only have 2: a Gen 5 MOS 34 and a “pre gens” 20. The 20 will probably be leaving soon to make room for a 20 Gen 5 mod… maybe not, maybe keep the old one around for such things as gator hunting and other activities over water, where a dropped gun is usually a lost gun.
Go to the GSSF matches and you’ll see people with more types of Glocks than I thought existed. To me, a Glock is something you really have to have a purpose for.

Sounds like terminal bad taste.

Never understood folk that worry about “leveling” a glock for combat use. You paint a dot in the center of the back of the slide, put the dot center mass the opponent and press the trigger.
If you have time to aim, then aim with the sights, leveling be damned.
In my opinion a Glock has no artistic style, its just a tool that works. Definitely good enough for combat use but I practice for accuracy without aiming and do not want to be hitting 2" low high at 15-20 yards. I know what you mean about back plate sighting, very useful.

Lol I used to say the same thing, plus that it had a trigger like on a staple gun. It's why I sold the two I had in the 1990s. Funny how that all changes once you put enough hours in on them at the range. They seem like perfectly good triggers to me now, and the guns seem made for my hand.

I recently purchased a gen 5 model 19 with the removable back straps and don’t find the brick comparison at all relevant to this firearm.

Just so you know, I hate Glocks. The only ones that don’t rise for me is the 43 and 48. The angle sucks.
