Several years ago there was a Remington 740 or 742 on GB and the seller had proof that it once belonged to Elvis Presley. The gun sat for quite awhile before it sold.

That is absolutely hideous 😬
I am not a big fan of large loop levers in general, though. I've owned a few, and they're generally just awkward to me. I do currently own one, in Henry form. It's not huge, though... works well with winter gloves on, but it's a bit sloppy barehanded.

That loop was the solution for a person with some type of disability to the hand. Looks like the lever could be changed back easily if the loop is not for you.
