In any case, it's a story that needs more circulation/exposure. Let's not kid ourselves that Republicans are any better. With very, very rare exceptions this is typical of 99+% of the Uniparty clowns.
Your title didn't exactly clue anyone into what the subject matter of your post was.
Yeah...occurred to me afterward that if I'd mentioned Democrat Senator and arrested it would have had a lot more hits. Almost changed it but too lazy. When I saw the title of your thread I knew immediately what you were referring to.
That precise behavior after some drinking and argument with a neighbor has my son carrying a felony label. New paint job was priced at about $3500. He owned up to the deed, but they still got the cops involved. He made good with payments, but his record still stands.
Delaware has concealed carry reciprocity with Texas AND has constitutional carry.
Surprised the heck out of me but there it is. How they managed that while being sandwiched between Maryland and New Jersey I dunno.

Florida, too, which was why when I was getting too tired to drive (from Florida to Long Island), I made sure to find a motel there to stop at instead of those other two states.
Dem Senator gets to chose how to handle it?... gets his ass kissed!... then gets a handshake!... "And Equal Justice For All" LOL...
The cops are smart to do it that way. First, he's a known quantity. It's not like he's going to run, or fight back, or disappear on them. Second, It leaves him no avenue of complaint about how he was dealt with. It's all right there on camera, he's got absolutely nothing to come back on them for. Third, he's a career politician who has, no doubt at all, got favors out there he can call in from influential people if he feels in any way he's been treated wrong. Fourth, seeing him handled with such deference will do more than anything to turn the popular opinion of the general public against him and help cement the incident in the minds of the voting public. (Look how you feel about it.) He's going to get a slap on the wrist fine and maybe, just maybe (if he's smart) some kind of "community service" sentence or even a few days in jail. His real punishment will come when the victim's insurance company goes after him for the cost of repairing the damage. The insurance company doesn't give a schitt who he is.
The real lesson of the story... don't put political stickers on your vehicle...
And while you’re at it, it’s probably not a good idea to advertise for all your favorite firearms companies, your gun club, IDPA, USPSA, or the NRA on the rear window of your truck. It would seem a great way to say, “Break into my truck first!”
Every time I see a Ruger sticker in the window of a 10 year old Nissan, I automatically know it’s some slob with a neck beard, or a giant lesbian on Test.
how can they prove its solicitation of a prostitute? I gave the whooor the money in a birthday card.
