Any respectable Jack Russell would make short work of such problems.

Feral cats will move their kittens pretty quick.Maybe a radio playing all the time, bright lights, or soak the area down with water Or just wait a little it won’t be long till they will be roaming outside and you can take care of the problem. I like that, no stink, no sweat, no carcasses. My hearing is completely destroyed, won't bother me, I will play modern country for 48 hrs or so, even the f...kin' termites will move out. Don't tune to a classical music station - cats like classical!

Build momma and the kitties some bunk beds, inside, quit being such a meany! JK! I go on a feral cat purge here on farm every 3 or 4 years to alleviate inbreeding. I leave the favorites of the girls and kill the rest. The big toms are just plain nasty and if they don't hunt rats and mice they are first on my list! Yer doin' it wrong. Kill all the females, a tomcat can't make kittens if there are no mama cats around. My uncle had a dairy farm, not too far from town, and townies would drive out there and dump their damned old cats, every now and then, uncle would thin them out. He kept the tomcats around to kill rats/mice around the barn (lots of rodents hang around dairy farms, because of all the fodder around a dairy barn). His system worked pretty well. While there WERE a lot of tomcats hanging around, there were never any kittens. Lots of cat fights to watch when you've got time, too. Dairy farmers don't have much time to dawdle, though.

.460 Weatherby is probably enough...
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

Flintlocke: We call them "field lions" around here - and sadly people dump their litters of kittens, often, in the fields surrounding my house. I use mothballs under my tool shed to keep them at bay. And indeed the 17 Mach2 comes into use from time to time with some field lions. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

I don’t know about feral, but my neighbor traps all of my wife’s cats and hauls them off. She thinks I storm over to his house to confront him about it, but we’re just drinking beer and I’m buying since he’s doing me a favor.
how can they prove its solicitation of a prostitute? I gave the whooor the money in a birthday card.

Bitch kitty moved under the flintshack with 4 kittens. Not interested in crawling under there, kittens are not going out on patrol with bitch momma yet. Mothballs? Clorox? Why worry about it? Because [bleep] cats. That’s why. I enjoy having songbirds in my yard. My neighbors (from CA) adopted a feral and the bastard kept coming into my yard and crapping everywhere and eating my birds. Well, wouldn’t you know it, old Chester came up missing. 9 lives my ass…

I think one of those high frequency rodent repellent devices would be pretty hard on the kitty ears and they would leave.

A fun way to get rid of any local cat is to put an Airedale on them. If he doesn't chase them away he'll tear them to pieces. He'll even crawl under your house for you.
I could wish a lot of things on my worst enemy but neuropathy ain't one of them.

The mountain quail coveys have been struggling here for about 5 years, coyotes and bobcats are well under control so it's not that, I think maybe it is aerial predators, hawks and such...although the drought never helps. In any case once I get bitch kitty and litter out from under the house, then the problem can be solved quickly and drama free. Bought a big jug of ammonia yesterday from Higgenez' recommendation, that should get her to move them. Unfortunately I also suspect the forces of stupidity have been clandestinely at work here. I found the wrapper from a package of stew meat while dumping the trash yesterday...hmm, we have not had stew since the weather turned warm. So I can only conclude that thoughtless, rampant stupidity is at work here. There should be exemptions in spousal abuse laws to allow for reasonable disciplinary justice.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.
