I have a solid frame 1886 that began life as a .33WCF. I sent to Turnbull to have a new 24” .45-70 barrel installed. I had Turnbull install a new buttstock and forearm. I had a steel widow’s peak buttplate installed. I have all of the Turnbull paperwork documenting the work done as well as the test target. $7,000. Pm for pics if you have serious interest.
