I purchased this beautiful BLR NIB recently but i have decided i would rather have a takedown model...This rifle is NIB unfired and still has the factory grease. Factory box/papers included.....Thanks Hb

Nice rifle. As with the majority of take down models, a solid frame may provide better accuracy. Just food for thought if you won't actually be needing to break it down. GLWS.

So what are you saying?

This takedown might shoot 2 inch groups instead of the 1.5 inch group a solid frame might shoot? Who buys a BLR for MOA accuracy? There would be better choices to punch holes in paper.

Hard to beat any BLR solid frame or takedown for turning living things into dead things though...

I had a 7mm-08 that would disagree with your statement. Have you owned one ?

Guess some missed the word "may". I still own 4 BLR's out of 7 over the years. The solid frames generally shot better with factory loads. Didn't set out to ruffle anyone's feathers, didn't realize some people would be triggered so easily. I also kept my 7mm08 takedown and hunt it often. I had high hopes for the 325WSM, it was thoroughly disappointing and when returned from browning, they said the accuracy was acceptable for a take down. Their words not mine.

I know levers are not as popular as in years past, but why is this still here at that price? I notice stuff doesn't sell like it used to, thanks "Bidenomics"!! If I didn't already have one. Extra bump.
