Yep,

Big wide slugs driven at a moderate speed tend to get the job done.

We love the light 44 and heavy 45LC offerings and are ready for more!!

A few unforeseen things have caused delays in new things being developed.

Never would have expected this as an example.

The 325 grain .45 Colt WFN Hammers are obviously a very large projectile. What was not expected was that they were about a 1/4" too tall to fit in the standard size boxes used for .45 Colt/.44 Mags.



That led to a few different experiments trying to find a cartridge box that would fit.

One of those was finding and buying these clear plastic boxes.



However they ended up being a good bit larger and wider than the standard box. So much so that 100 rounds would not fit in the regular size box used for shipping.

Long story short, it ended up being a loss, but I still have a bunch I need to use up!


All that to say, I had to seek out and have built a custom ammo box that would fit the larger 325 grain WFN Hammer load. Fortunately it will also fit the 300 grain .44 Magnum Hammers as well.

Personally I like the way the boxes turned out looking.



I had to order a large number of them, so it wiped me out, but hoping the new look and ammo is well recieved. Always a gamble.

I don't have the label anymore but, IIRC, the 44s we were shooting yesterday were your 44 Russian loads. Are you still turning these out? They really made for some fun practice with the 5" S&W 629.....

Rod ejection with the .45 ACP cases nicely for trumps moon clips for extended shooting.

That .44 Russian load was absolutely the single most accurate .44 caliber load I have ever developed in 30 years of loading. One hole groups at 25 yards type accuracy. If I can ever get a decent quantity of brass again I will likely do another run of it. It was such a stellar performer in every gun it was tried in. So little recoil and so much fun.

Plus you can use 1911 mags (or most semi auto mags for "speed loaders" for your single action revolver.

A 325 grain .45 Colt WFN and a 125 grain .38 Short Colt!
