This is what I use also on my Mule. Kit comes with oil, filter, funnel, and air filter. Change it once a year if miles are not met, change air filter twice a year.

I change the oil every 2-3 years on the Polaris sxs. Just buy the kit with the fancy synthetic oil.

Change the oil every 5-6 years on my beloved Yamaha 700 Grizzly and use fancy Amsoil.

Same deal with generators and small engines that we use year round. Dump in some of the super viscosity synthetic and forget about it.

Some UTV’s have diesel engines. My John Deere Gator 855d has a Yanmar 3 cylinder diesel in it. Great little engine that sips fuel and just runs in our heat and sand without any hiccups.

My non-diesel Yamaha Kodiak 450 has exclusively seen Rotella T6 since I bought it in 2010. Same for a majority of owners on the Yamaha forums.

It works well in my Super Duty pickup too.

Works well with machines having wet clutches as it has no slip agents added. It’s good stuff.

Change oil and filter once per year on my Polaris Ranger. I just buy the kit for $35. Have bought a couple quarts to top off between changes since 2014.

I’ve read complaints about the cost and cheaper substitutions. Never went that route though, understand the complaints but the saving seemed nominal.

what are you using?

Use any oil that meets the spec for the vehicle.

Diesel oil is a lot tougher than car oil is rated for.... and works just fine in them.

Been using it for decades in vehicles I've racked up to 400K on them before I gave the car away.

My 88 4Runner has always used Diesel truck oil... its just short of 600K on the original factory motor...

Most diesel oils are rated for gas engines also, but even the ones that aren't with the certification still work better than the oil rated for them. Standards are much higher on a diesel. And also run long drains with diesel oil... 15 to 25K with filter changes in between... none of these engines have any sludge build up within them...

Guess that makes me a fugktard also then...but I bet I get a lot more miles out of engines than you do....
