Picked up a Sako A-iii in 375 H&H. It looks like stainless , but didnt think they made the AIII in that ?? Thoughts ?

Is it the model 75 in the AIII action or the late 1970-80’s A series? If the older gun, it might have been nickel plated or ceracoated. 75’s came in stainless.

I bet it is nickel plated. I have never seen a AIII or AV in stainless.

I am not sure if you asking about just the action or the barrel, too, but the stampings on the barrel make it look non-factory.
