I just read that Jim Scoutten has died. Really enjoyed his shows and the way he presented topics.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Scoutten.
In his thirty years of reporting the shooting sports, Jim played a pivotal role in the industry and will be greatly missed.

Used to watch his show, and enjoyed it.
More than I can say for most such shows.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

I met him either late 90's or early 2000's at the Silhouette Nationals at Ridgway, Pa. He was there with one camera guy and himself. I don't know about recently, but then he was a pretty heavy smoker.

I spent many an hour watching Jim while incarcerated in the hospitals and nursing home after my bout with Covid. His show kept me occupied for 14 months till I could return home and shoot my firearms again. He’ll be sorely missed by me.
