I completed my brush gun last Thursday evening and it is a blast to shoot. Bought a Ruger 44 carbine (btw Thanks Foxbat) and rigged it with a EO Tech holographic site. These 2 were made for each other. The big bore 44 with it's light recoil and fast follow up shot teaming up with the halo site is like playing a video game.

This thing is fast to get on target and easy to keep it there. I can't wait to take a few hogs with this monster.

Not sure how to post pictures on this site or I would be showing it off.

Glad you like your new rig. Isn't that Holosight something else? About like cheating! wink

A semi-auto 44 mag with a holosight will make quite the meat grinder! I have a Holosighted 50 Beowulf in an AR and have done some pig shooting with it. Awesome!

Enjoy!

I'll get some photos of her tonight Fox. She'll put 5-240 gr in a 4" circle in about 3 seconds at 100 yards. And yes Ricky it is like cheating. All of my hunting buddies are scrambling for ruger 44's now.

My local gun shop has a creat full of the model 512 halos.

I love this rig.

Not an easy rifle to come by, most likely. The Holosight on the other hand is very easy to obtain and makes one shot kills a pretty easy thing with most any weapon.

I read this site was quick, but that was the understatement of the year. I had 3 deer run by me Sunday. 1 was a flash, no way to get on it, but the other 2 had they have been shooters, would have been easy shots.

I'm impressed and I don't impress easy.
