Found some info in which a company in Michigan is ramping up to produce the Montana 2022 receiver, a machined update of the MRC 1999 cast receiver. According to the video info, the 2022 version includes an integral Pic rail. I have some earlier versions of MRC’s that are nice, the later models were inconsistent at best.

Looks like these folks bought the name and IP, but are a completely different unrelated manufacturing group.

This looks interesting, hope these guys iron out the kinks.

If it really comes through and the QC is good, I can see using them for a couple of builds.

Seems worth keeping an eye on.

My X2 in 7mm08 has become a favorite of mine for hunting out of my climber. Good luck to these guys. Hopefully they get off to a good start.
You can’t start off being everything to everybody. A good execution of what they do start off will be important.
