Pro tip, you'll see and kill more elk with a good pair of hiking boots and cut your fuel costs significantly.

That's a win-win.

You're welcome, in advance.

Lol, potbelly Lloyd rides taxpayer funded horses. You should hike more Lloyd, getting that spare tire off will be easier on our horses.

Your welcome for the use of our horses.

Try those hiking boots, I highly recommend meindl.

Since when are you worried about fuel costs? laugh laugh

I'm not, like I said, never have been.

Just trying to help out those that complain about the high fuel prices.

Question. Is BHA working to shut access down for vehicles and ensuring that country can only be hunted on foot?

These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

In areas that are currently accessible by vehicle no.

Keeping them out of areas off limits to motorized travel, yes.

BHA has a reward program for the conviction of illegal off road travel.

I hike more miles on accident than you do on purpose, and you know it.

It certainly doesn't show in your belt line.

Apply for an elk tag in Wyoming, you will find out who can hike and who can't.

I'll even sign off to get you into designated wilderness...no bikes and spandex allowed in the wilderness. Isn't flat like where you live either.

Yeah, walking in the mountains might kick my below sea level ass.

It would, where's the elk quarter you're packing?

Oh, that's right you've never shot one to know how that works.

Man, hauling elk down a mountain sounds intimidating. We all know a pound of elk weighs much more than a pound of Kodiak Blacktail.

Kodiak blacktail are childs play, BTDT. My buddy and I shot 2 each in 3 days. Easy as pie, hike up, pack down. Doesn't always work that way with elk.

Was that your 4th trip, packing the head cape?

You really need to learn how to take field photo's, BTW.

You need to learn to respect your betters dude. He made it all the way up to GS7 Forestry Technician. It takes a lot og driving around in a government truck to qualify for that rank.

One trip. Cape, head and boned out meat.

It wasn't a few hundred feet above sea level hiking little rollers like yours was either.

Hey Paul,

Can you tell us about the time you packed a 6 point bull out of the bottom of Sycamore Canyon?

Yeah, BTDT too. Killed a bull right in the bottom in the shaded area below the cliffs.

[Linked Image from photos.imageevent.com]

My, its surprising I was able to pack that thing up out of that coulee, solo, in one day with my waste line and all that you're so infatuated with.
