I started drinking when I was a kid and quit 6 weeks before I graduated college. I don't know how things would have ended if I didn't quit but it would not have been good. The first couple of years were tough. Eventually I learned a new way of life and don't even think about it anymore. Been over 26 years without touching it. No regrets.

Sobriety is boring in the PM but it’s great in the AM. That's the fugging truth. I don't drink more than a 6 or so beers at a time, but I do it daily. It adds up over time and makes mornings a little less tolerable than they should be.
4 out of 5 Great Lakes prefer Michigan.
