New member. I don't normally post in boards much. After 40 years I wanted to modernize my cabinet and sell of my old gems. Which I did. I use lighter recoil rifles now due to injury and wanted a value rifle in 6mm categories for my deer and bear rifles.
I have to give my experience with 2 rifles I bought a months ago. They are Turkish made by ATA The Turqua Generation 2 (new design). Savage is bringing them out as a 334. Beautiful walnut stocks, 3 position safety, 3 lug bolts, fibre iron sights. Mine came with 2 mags!!!
I have the 243 and 6.5 Creedmoor. I got them on sale up here in Canada in the early Spring. I've ran 4 different brands and grain weights through them. Every one was 1MOA or better. The Creed and 243 both shot .5MOA with 2 brands. These thigns are a steal. I'm posting this becuase with the costs of things so expensive folks may be looking for a cheap rifle. I assume Savage will just be identical to mine with the sights.
If you can find these on sale when you are looking check them out. My buddy was so blown away he bought the 308. Same thing. Sub moa... I hope this helps someone looking for a quality cheap rifle. No idea what they will cost in other countries. Make sure they are new design.
I've been a little curious about the ATA myself. I have an ATA shotgun and the particular model does not seem to be very many in the United States. it is quite an excellent shotgun so what have my curious about this rifles also I know where one is in stock not too awful far from home.
