load your own

wal mart. Remington 55g FMJ $7.49 a box up $1 from last month

Dicks sporting goods. They offten have cupons on line for ammo, and better buys if you buy by the case, but you will have to ask the store manager about that while you are there.

we are talking .223, right?

Been buying 3 boxes/week of the fore mentioned Remington 55 gr. FMJ at my local Wally World for a mere $6.46/20 round box. Been buying and putting it away while it is available/affordable.

This site gives you the best prices on a day by day basis. Most of the time you have to buy in bulk, though.

Wolf 55gr FMJ or HP for 5.67 a box at Cheaper Than Dirt.

I bought Win 40rnd value pack at Wally world for $7.50 a box a few years ago and stocked up nicely... smile

Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

When your ship comes in. ... make sure you are willing to unload it.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

Anybody ever buy the Monarch brand ammo? They have two versions--one steel case FMJ and one brass case with a SP. The steel case stuff is $4.90ish at the local Academy stores.

Cabela's is running a deal on ammo ... spend at least $100 and shipping is free.
